I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana (so yes I’m a Hoosier by heart). I am a graduate of Indiana University and started my career as a Certified Public Accountant, (CPA). I moved to Florida in 1989 and have loved every minute of it. I began my insurance career back in 1996 with Nationwide Insurance. At Nationwide, I spent four years as an agency manager and then another four years as a business consultant. Finally tired of travelling and being away from my family I purchased the Gehrich Agency in 2004. My first year as an agent, there were four hurricanes in six weeks – welcome to the agency world! In addition to my CPA license I also hold the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation and am a Dale Carnegie graduate.
I am happily married with three children (all girls) and three dogs (two boys and one girl). My husband insisted on having at least one more male in the house.
When I am not busy running the agency I enjoy spending time with my family going to Disneyworld or snow skiing in Colorado.
I was born and raised right here in Bradenton and attended Manatee High School and MCC (which is now State College of Florida). I have been in the insurance industry since 1984 and have worked in both the agency side and company side of the business. I joined the Horizon team in May of 2006. In 2011 I earned my CMSR (Certified Master Service Representative) designation after completing a year-long intense international training program from CSR Mastery. And I finished top three in my class. I also hold a CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation.
I have a wonderful boyfriend and I am a very proud mother of an awesome son & a beautiful daughter. My daughter has blessed me with three amazing grandchildren. My mom lives here too, I am very fortunate to have all my family here in Bradenton.
My family and I enjoy watching my grandson play flag football & my granddaughter cheerlead, we enjoy playing pool (billiards), swimming in the pool, and going to the beach. Eating is a favorite so we enjoy a Bar BQ and cooking new recipes. Also, we attend church together, we love going to theme parks, concerts, making crafts, watching movies and eating popcorn. I also play pool on an 8 & 9 ball league with my boyfriend and we are members of the APA. I have been fortunate to win my way to Vegas to play in 9 ball doubles championship. I enjoy both my working a personal life!
I was born and raised in Parma Heights, a little suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1987 and relocated to Port Charlotte in December of 2013. I started my insurance career in 1997 with State Farm and after 11 years decided to own and operate my own insurance agency, which I had for five years. After I sold the agency I decided to work on the company side of insurance and realized my passion is with the agency side. In 2011 I completed my CISR (Customer Insurance Service Representative) designation. Also, I hold a Property & Casualty license as well as a Life and Annuity license. I started my career with the Horizon family in January of 2014.
I have two daughters and four grandchildren and I love spending time with them more than anything in the world. I enjoy many activities, but in particular I love the beach, going on cruises, and shopping for clothes and shoes.
I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia but found my home in sunny Bradenton, Florida, where I relocated in October 2017. With 17 years of experience in the apartment industry, I honed my customer service skills and developed a passion for helping others. Transitioning to the insurance industry with Horizon has been an exciting new chapter in my career. Since joining the team, I’ve proudly earned my 4-40 Customer Service License and recently achieved my 20-44 Personal Lines Agent License.
On a personal note, I’m the proud mom of an incredible son, Alex, who is on the spectrum. Over the past 21 years, he has taught me more about patience, understanding, and the beauty of seeing the world from a different perspective than I ever thought possible. Together, we love exploring Bradenton’s Riverwalk, browsing the local farmers market, and—much to Alex’s delight—battling it out over video games, where he always seems to win!
I was born in South Carolina and raised in Bradenton, FL. I find cleaning therapeutic and enjoy the sense of peace it brings. Pink is my favorite color, reflecting my vibrant, cheerful personality. I’m passionate about my faith and enjoy attending church regularly. When I’m not spending time with my adorable puppy, Milo, you can often find me watching movies, bowling, or shopping with my husband. I also love to cook, finding joy in creating delicious meals for myself and others. In my professional life, I recently earned my Property and Casualty Personal Lines license in September of 2024. With years of experience in the auto industry, I bring a deep understanding of lease agreements and financing to my work, ensuring I provide exceptional customer service. My background has given me the tools to connect with clients and offer tailored advice to suit their needs. Whether at home or in my career, I’m passionate about living a life filled with purpose, care, and connection.
I have been active in the Sarasota/Bradenton business community for over twenty five years. My experience includes working with business owners and their families, assisting them with their investment and financial planning needs, including business succession planning, estate planning and risk management issues. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), I help businesses define and manage their commercial insurance needs.
I am active in the community, currently serving on the board of directors of the Junior Achievement of Sarasota. Recently I served on the Economic Development Council of Sarasota County and previously with the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Governmental Issues Council. I am an alumnus of Leadership Sarasota County and of Leadership Tampa Bay. I served as Treasurer of The Child Protection Center, Inc. while serving on the board of directors.
In my spare time I enjoy the Florida weather and spend lots of time outdoors. Activities I enjoy include golf, tennis, bicycling and watching beautiful Gulf of Mexico sunsets.
